First, I was pleasantly surprised when someone answered the phone on Thanksgiving day. (One of the torsion springs had broken.) Then pleased that a technician could make repairs the next day. Zack arrived earlier than the time I had been give, evaluated the door, and gave me three options -- fully explaining each. I took the complete overhaul which Zack completed in a professional and timely manner. Door works great now. I am very pleased with the service I received from Zack and Precision Door.

Ben was very responsive and quickly returned our initial call to ask basic questions and to determine if we could fix the problem with our door opener over the phone. We could not. So Zac showed up early on his scheduled day and did a great job asking the right questions to evaluate our situation, diagnosing the problem, explaining our options and the pros/cons of each, then implementing the alternative we selected. Both gentlemen clearly knew their trade!

After the appointment was booked, the service center asked if the technician could come earlier than the scheduled appointment time. I told them yes and changed plans to accommodate the technician's early arrival; however the technician did not arrive until the end of the originally scheduled appointment window. I told the technician that the door abruptly stopped working when the sensors were bumped while cleaning the garage; the technician said that the problem could be the sensors, but did not investigate further; he looked at the age of the opener and said that the problem with the door was likely a failed mother board because of the opener's age. He said that we needed a new opener, and that Precision did not sell the type of opener that we would need. He did not perform any additional servicing to the garage door that was promised in the original quote for service, but did provide a bill and left with payment. A different company was called. The second company determined that the garage door sensors were damaged and the source of the problem. This company diagnosed the problem, replaced the sensors, and lubricated the rollers and chain for less money than Precision's service charge where they performed no service. The door has been working well for several weeks since being serviced by the second company.

I needed a minor adjustment on my garage door but it prevented the door from closing properly. I was impressed that the person answering the phone walked me through several steps over the phone to try and fix the problem so I wouldn't have to pay for service. As I live alone, they made every effort to fit me into their schedule as quickly as possible. After Bill made the adjustment to my opener, he stayed long enough to give it a minor tune-up to prevent future problems. All this for the trip charge. I was very pleased--have used Precision Door Service in the past and will continue to use them in the future.

I don't have Precision out very often because they do a great job every time. They have installed a new opener, serviced and repaired a very old door and replaced both springs. Springs have held up for many years. They repaired what I thought might not be repaired. They replaced rollers so the door is smooth and quiet. They give me information so that I can keep the door in good condition myself and they reprogrammed all of my remotes for me. Courteous,friendly and professional. Price is always reasonable. Often times no charge. Could not be better.

I had Precision repair my garage door in 2003 after a another company tried to fix it. Precision fixed it. Recently a had a spring break. I called Precision on Thurs. pm, made an appointment for sat. They followed up with an email telling me the sked. Sat at 800a got a call telling me they were a block away. Service was performed in 30 minutes. Price was very fair. I have told friends a neighbors about Precision. They are great and do what they say. DO USE THEM! ALSO, THEY DID A SAFETY ON BOTH THE DOORS. once again.

I HAD A BUSY SUNDAY AND THE SPRING BROKE ON THE GARAGE DOOR. I DON'T KNOW HOW I FOUND PRECISION BUT YEARS AGO, THE FIRST TIME I NEEDED GARAGE DOOR HELP, I FOUND THEM. I HAVE HAD A STICKER WITH THEIR NUMBER NEXT TO MY OPENER SWITCH SINCE THEN. I HAVE USED THEM SEVERAL TIMES---SO, OF COURSE, I CALLED THEM. THEY CAME SUNDAY MORNING--HAD ME OUT OF MY GARAGE IN TIME FOR MY DAY. AND, NEXT TIME I NEED HELP I WILL CALL THEM AGAIN.
