I called precision garage doors after seeing their ads on TV. It really motivated me to get my garage. Doors looked at and get some maintenance done and get it all taken care of. Nick was my repairman who showed up and went through everything with me. Line by line, by line within 30 minutes. He had my garage doors running as smoothly and as quietly as can be. If you're even remotely thinking about it, just get it done. And you'll be very happy and sleep a lot better at night.

The tech diagnosed the problem and seems to have done a good job repairing it. However, he arrive 2 ¾ hours late, and wanted me to sign documents, such as satisfaction with the work, and payment authorization without reading what I was signing. He initially showed me only the signature line on his iPad.

Our garage door springs broke in the beginning of the weekends frigid cold snap, trapping one of our cars inside and Precise was here the next day. Nick was great, he did a thorough inspection of the entire system and gave us a great explanation of what happened and what needed fixing. He was gracious enough to fix everything in about an hour in the cold, we are so appreciative of his work!

We were VERY surprised to be able to book an appointment window that started 20 minutes after making the appointment online…on a Sunday, no less! Nick did a FANTASTIC job diagnosing, explaining what was needed and why, and then fully repairing our garage door. Felt I was being upsold right from the start. I didn’t want a new door just one spring replaced.
Ken, We appreciate you taking the time to give us a review, even if you were not a satisfied customer. We may not be the least expensive company out there we certainty are not the most expensive. Our technician takes the time to evaluate your door and opener with a 25 pt safety inspection. You have a double sized door with 2 torsion springs with one being broken. Springs should be replaced in pairs, at the same time, as the life spans will closely mimic each other. If you are being told otherwise, then you've been given bad information. You may get another 6 months or so from the spring that is not broken but you more than likely will only get 6-8 weeks. You were given 3-4 options for repair and decided to use a different company and hopefully they are giving you good information. Perhaps Precision Garage Door is not the right company for you...we just want you to be taken care of properly and treated fairly. Best regards, Bill - Manager

I have used Precision for a broken coil in the past and was pretty happy with the quick response and work. Now I was having issues with the garage door not closing several times and requested a repair service for this 20 yo opener and scheduled it online for the next day. Nick Precision Door tech contacted me when he was on his way, after arrival we talked about the issue, he inspected the door operation and after some adjustment, we came to the conclusion that the old opener could completely fail very soon, leaving my family stranded with a non working door while I had to be out of town for a few days. I purchased a new opener replacement and Nick did an outstanding job, very professional and courteous. We were able to talked about the issues and expectations for the work with great rapport and friendliness, thank you Nick. Could this be the same service I used 3 years ago when I moved into my home? My experience today was disappointing to say the least. The technician was rude when I acted surprised at how much expensive his recommended 'options' were when I explained they were too expensive for me to consider. I paid the $99 trip charge and He left in a huff. Didn't say thank you. My door still has the same problem, I'm less $99 and didn't appreciate the poor customer service. To say the technician was a rude, know it all would be an understatement.

Made an appointment for my garage door that would only open halfway. If course as soon as I made the appointment the garage door started working properly. However, they still came out. I received a prompt phone call with a heads up and he even asked if I needed anything to drink from the gas station! He came and helped reset our keypad and taught me how to do it. I was expecting a tiny fee for them making the trip out but we weren't even charged anything! We will continue to use this company in the future!
