Will provided complete explanation of service and completed the repair of the spring in good time. The cost of the repair was extremely high. The person who took my call and scheduled the service was way low on the estimate for the spring cost of between $200 and 400. Being a huge company like precision,I would like to think that you could be much fairer with your prices.

Although Precision does have locations all across America, we are all individually owned and operated and take pride in our professionally trained service technicians and office staff. We do monitor and record all calls to help train our office staff to be sure they are giving correct information when speaking to potential customers. Perhaps there was confusion as you were given pricing for a service fee and a range of prices for both extension springs or torsion springs, depending on what was needed. We cannot give an exact cost until a technician completes the 25 point safety inspection. Your technician did offer and apply a 10% discount off of the parts we installed. I called Precision and a representative answered my call, booked it for less than two hours later! Tom(tech) called 15 mins before the appointment time and showed up promptly at 10am, as scheduled. He inspected the issue and quoted me a price for the broken spring but found more issues than I called about but he showed me ossued, told me total cost and finished work in less than an hour. Excellent guy with a pleasant personality and excellent work. Service call made my garage door opener run like new, so smooth and quiet! Thank you Precision!!

Our garage door crashed while closing and it was an emergency! We scheduled service, but then we were able to get the door down ourselves, and so we rescheduled for the next Monday. The office made all the scheduling and rescheduling VERY easy. Once the technician came, he was fabulous -- inspected and explained everything and had all the repairs completed in a short time. We were VERY happy with the service. You are on the top of the list in case of future difficulties. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Normally I would have done it myself but with the cold weather a few hours away it was worth the extra money to get it done promptly! Plus The new opener was a great upgrade from my old chain drive! Very friendly technician, but OUTRAGEOUS prices. $771 to replace two springs! I can't recommend them and I won't call them in the future.

All of our technicians are professionally trained and certified to evaluate all workings parts of your door as well as the opener and make recommendations before doing any work. Your safety inspection shows not only broken springs but severely worn end bearings, center bearing as well as worn rollers and you chose to do all the bearings as well as both springs. With exhausted supply lines and the rising cost of materials, you will find we have very competitive pricing in this job market. Perhaps not the least expensive but certainly not the most expensive. I cannot say enough positive remarks about the service that I have received from Precision Door Service in the past several weeks! The technician arrived as scheduled, showed me the reason that my garage door wasn't working and didn't charge me for the visit! Once it was because my door opener was in lock position and today because the door was frozen to the ground. Without doubt I will purchase my replacement garage door opener when needed from them!

One thing you might tell your service people...it would be reallly helpful if they would write down rhe model and product number so I didn't have to climb the ladder to get it. I was oping it would be on the invoice but I didn't see it.
