He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me a breakdown of short term and long term repair my garage door needed. My garage door spring broke yesterday. I called Precision a 6pm and got service at 8am the next day. The repair professional (Lucas) was courteous, efficient and came with all necessary replacement items. All replacement items and rationale was explained and approved before the service was initiated. Great experience.

After calling a couple other garage-door places, who never got back to me, I remembered that Precision had fixed our springs some years ago and did a great job. I called them for a garage door that was only partially shutting and a fraying cable, and Luke came out the same day, took a look, gave me an estimate, and got the work done all in one fell swoop. The door works great now--new casters, lubricated, new cable, and it shuts all the way. The estimate was on point as well. Great service, extremely timely, and fair pricing. Highly recommend!

Great service at a very fair price. This is the second or third time I have used Precision, and they have done an excellent job every time. The technician was on time and very professional. This was a tricky install as it was primarily a storage unit. He was flexible and could "work around" some large items stored in the garage.

I called Precision to take care of a garage door issue. I was told that Tom would come out that same day, between 2-4:00. Not only was he on the early side of 2-4:00 but it was a simple fix and looked at and listened to the door and said it did not require any maintenance at this time.....yeah!!

One of our garage door openers stopped working and I was unable to figure out how to fix it so I called another garage door repair company. On the day of the appointment they didn't show up and I needed to leave for an appointment and told them I needed to cancel. I called Precision to schedule an appointment; they were able to come out later that same afternoon, Tom Lathrop took care of the problem quickly and was very professional, friendly and extraordinarily fair in what he charged. Tom Lathrop has helped us with past garage door problems, and we've always liked his help. This time he was terrific: he knew immediately that a broken spring was the reason the door wouldn't work, and he made all the needed repairs efficiently and well.

This was our second repair by Precision (Tom Lathrop). The first was 2020, when another company botched a broken spring and cable replacement and after four visits garage door still wasn't working properly. Tom immediately diagnosed the problems and quickly made the necessary repairs. This time, a bracket holding a wheel on the track (25 year old door) had pulled loose from the door. In less than 30 minutes, Tom made the necessary repairs. Charges were very reasonable. I had originally selected Precision based on their great reviews. If I could give Tom Lathrop (and Precision) more than 5 stars, I would.

What a great experience! I called about my garage door opener not working correctly and was able to get an appointment for someone to come out right away. Tom arrived and was thorough in his assessment. I did need a new opener, so he quickly got it installed. He's very knowledgeable, professional, clearly knows what he's doing and was personable too. He did a great job. The cost of the new opener and accessories was, in my opinion, very reasonable. I really appreciate the little "extra niceties" too - in particular, I received a call this morning telling me that Tom would get there on the far side of my 8 to 10 am window and then received a call from Tom to let me know his arrival time, which was pretty much exactly what I had been told. Those extra steps to make sure I knew the status of Tom's arrival allowed me to plan for that two-hour period without "wondering" if I could start a project or not. I highly recommend this company.

One of the springs failed a couple years after Precision replaced it. I called and in a little over an hour they came to replace it. Of course there was a service charge of $75, but, the part was free. Prompt and knowledgeable.
