I called because I want to support local business. However, it turned out that you were unable to repair my Ankwar opener. I was charged $99 for your service man to tell me he was not licensed for this particular model. I paid the $99 but this all could have been avoided had you asked me what model I have. Maybe this could become a question you ask everyone before scheduling a service call.

Mr Oswalt, Thank you for taking the time to give us valuable feedback regarding your experience with your Precision Garage Door technician. After seeing the evaluation, safety inspection and pictures attached I believe there was a communication issue. What you have is a Wayne Dalton door with what's called a "torquemaster spring system"...inside the long silver tube is a long, small spring and the spring is broken. Your options are replacing the torquemaster system with a Wayne Dalton dealer or having the system converted to a traditional torsion spring. (Which every company you contact will recommend) Precision can do the conversion, and I have emailed you an estimate to do that repair and left you a voice mail to explain the confusion and remedy we offered. I found Precision online. It was during the evening hours when my spring on the door broke and there was someone who answered the phone immediately. I chose Precision because of the BBB rating and the quick response. Jesse did an excellent job making the repair. He was knowledgeable and skilled. I thought the price was a little high (hence the 4 stars), but sometimes it is worth it to get the job done quickly and correctly.

Donovan and Mark were awesome! When they got here, I described the problem and it wasn’t necessarily a simple/straightforward solution. They both explained everything to me so it made sense and still fixed the garage door in about 20 minutes. Afterwards, they walked me through the repairs and explained everything they did. Our technician did a 25 pt safety inspection on the door and opener and what he found was a broken spring on a Wayne Dalton door with Torquemaster system. A dealer of that specific system may be able to replace the spring, which is hidden in the torquemaster set up but all other companies will need to do torsion spring conversion. A conversion consists of other working parts, besides the spring only. This will increase costs but also increase the lifetime of the springs and we give a longer warranty. You will find Precision Garage Door Service to be competitive in the market and our you will find our warranty to be one of the best in the industry. I called two other garage door companies before I came upon Precision. The first one didn't even answer the phone (couldn't leave a voice mail even) and the second one never called back. When I called Precision, I was able to speak to a live person, and explain my problem. I was able to make an appointment the next day. Prior to the end of business that day I got a call from a technician leaving a voice mail message that he thought he had an easy fix for my garage door. I was unable to get back with him that day. The next day a technician arrived from Precision and was able to solve my problem immediately. My garage door now works and because it was a simple fix the technician did not even bill me a service fee. WHEN DOES THAT HAPPEN ANYMORE THESE DAYS? CALL PRECISION IF YOU WANT A COMPANY THAT IS KNOWLEDGEABLE, FAIR, AND HAS INTEGRITY.

Donovan and Mark were amazing. They arrived early for my service with bright smiling faces. They went through and explained the initial inspection and once completed explained, in detail, what was needed for repair. The team went over and beyond to ensure everything was in tack and working up to standards. During the inspection we were informed that we needed a new motor as well. So that was also replaced. Once the repair was complete they explain again, in detail, what was completed and how the new motor operates. My husband and I are very happy with the results! Lukas asked what we needed, we wanted two springs above the garage door instead of one. He showed the ones that would work best for our garage door and opener. What it would cost and the cost of new rollers with ball hearings. We went ahead and had everything installed. The cost was fair and he did a great job. Appreciate him being up front and honest about everything . Would recommend your company.
