We were VERY surprised to be able to book an appointment window that started 20 minutes after making the appointment online…on a Sunday, no less! Nick did a FANTASTIC job diagnosing, explaining what was needed and why, and then fully repairing our garage door. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for better service, and now our garage door quietly opens and closes like new!

Ken, We appreciate you taking the time to give us a review, even if you were not a satisfied customer. We may not be the least expensive company out there we certainty are not the most expensive. Our technician takes the time to evaluate your door and opener with a 25 pt safety inspection. You have a double sized door with 2 torsion springs with one being broken. Springs should be replaced in pairs, at the same time, as the life spans will closely mimic each other. If you are being told otherwise, then you've been given bad information. You may get another 6 months or so from the spring that is not broken but you more than likely will only get 6-8 weeks. You were given 3-4 options for repair and decided to use a different company and hopefully they are giving you good information. Perhaps Precision Garage Door is not the right company for you...we just want you to be taken care of properly and treated fairly. Best regards, Bill - Manager

I have used Precision for a broken coil in the past and was pretty happy with the quick response and work. Now I was having issues with the garage door not closing several times and requested a repair service for this 20 yo opener and scheduled it online for the next day. Nick Precision Door tech contacted me when he was on his way, after arrival we talked about the issue, he inspected the door operation and after some adjustment, we came to the conclusion that the old opener could completely fail very soon, leaving my family stranded with a non working door while I had to be out of town for a few days. I purchased a new opener replacement and Nick did an outstanding job, very professional and courteous. We were able to talked about the issues and expectations for the work with great rapport and friendliness, thank you Nick. Nick the technician was awesome!! He checked out the problem with my garage door and corrected it. He oiled all the parts!! He is very detailed and conscientious. He explains the problem. He is very knowledgeable and personable. He also has integrity because he didn’t sell me something that I didn’t need. I used Precision in Fort Collins before I moved here. I highly recommend this company. I wouldn’t call any other company and I tell my family to call Precision if they have a problem with their garage door.

I have never been disappointed with Precision's service and competance. They give me a 2 hour window, the service person calls when he is on his way and once here he checks the door out, makes any adjustments that he believes is necessary and then gets to the reason you called if it was not for a check of the door. In this case it was the door did not open or close for the car controls but did for the installed control with the door. It didn't take long and Bill, the service person, had everything working fine and was on his way. Bill was excellent but then thats what I have come to expect from Precision Door. Thank YOU again!

Could this be the same service I used 3 years ago when I moved into my home? My experience today was disappointing to say the least. The technician was rude when I acted surprised at how much expensive his recommended 'options' were when I explained they were too expensive for me to consider. I paid the $99 trip charge and He left in a huff. Didn't say thank you. My door still has the same problem, I'm less $99 and didn't appreciate the poor customer service. To say the technician was a rude, know it all would be an understatement.

On Friday night my garage door would not open. I was thankful that Precision Garage Door was able top come out Saturday morning. Their website makes it very easy to schedule online. Nick, who came out, was very courteous and helpful. The problem was resolved by pushing a button on the garage door opener that I had locked accidentally. Since there was no repair involved Nick was kind enough to to do a maintenance service on our door and gave me a 10.00 discount off the sevice call fee. I was very happy with their service and would not hesitate to use again. .

Precision had done a great job of promptly replacing the broken spring in our garage door about 5 years ago, so when the door refused to shut I knew who to call. They responded within 2 hours or less, fixed the problem for a very reasonable rate and gave me prices on some other maintenance areas for future reference. The door and opener is about 15 years old.l They are great and, of course, I would call them again when needed or for maintenance.

Brian was able to determine the appropriate service repair based on the popping noises heard while opening the garage door. He also checked the spring force against weight of the door. He suggested and I accepted a new set of springs. My door is quiet again!

Our garage door springs broke in the beginning of the weekends frigid cold snap, trapping one of our cars inside and Precise was here the next day. Nick was great, he did a thorough inspection of the entire system and gave us a great explanation of what happened and what needed fixing. He was gracious enough to fix everything in about an hour in the cold, we are so appreciative of his work!
