This is the 3rd time I have called Precision to fix my garage door. First repair was a spring replacement, 2nd was the kids disengaging the manual latch (no charge), and this time the sensors had to be replaced. Tom has come each time for the repairs and is always on time, efficient and pleasant. Jill L.

I chose Precision based on the reviews I read and the fact that you have regular weekend hours. Other companies charge "emergency fees" for Saturday appointments. The person who took my call was very friendly and helpful. The technician, Rick, was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was also early!! He answered all of my questions and graciously accommodated our 6 year old son while he replaced our rollers and tuned up our old garage door. It's running like new now! From start to finish, it was a very pleasant experience. I will recommend Precision to all of my friends.

I had a bearing wear out on my opener and the chain was slipping - Tom was able to come out the next day and identify the problem and had the part on his truck and made the repair right then - this is second time I have had Tom and Precision out to do work for me (the two visits were not related)- I am quite please and would highly recommend

Coming home late in the evening our garage door spring broke after the door closed with both cars in the garage. We couldn't open the door to get our cars out. At that hour, Precision was one of the few with 24 hour live person answering personnel. I booked an appointment for 1rst thing in the morning and Rick was here right on time. Within an hour our situation was rectified with a couple of newly installed springs. (2 not 1)The price was a bit of a surprise as apparently we had been quoted pricing for replacing 1 spring instead of two. Despite that, great people!

Bill did a great job yet again! He was there on time, knew exactly what the issue was and was able to replace several brackets that were original to the door and in need of replacement. He was in and out in no time at all, extremely professional, and did a great job.

Very pleased with Precisions service as they were able to come when I got off work and had 4-6p appointments available - Tom/tech was very personable and did the service, adjust and nylon roller replacement very quickly - Tom informed me of what might be the next problem that I may face - he also showed me the easiest way to adjust the tension on the opener - again I highly recommend

I'm IMPRESSED! Purchased a coupon for your services, online at GOOGLE. The price was right and I'm thrilled that I followed thru with this. Bill arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, after calling me first. He is very personable, knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions and did an admirable job on the service call. My NEW Garage Door Service Co is "Precision"...!!!

Our garage door malfunctioned and we called another repair service first. They quoted my wife $20 to come out inspect the problem and provide an estimate. They did show up in a timely manner, inspected the door and gave us the news. My wife and I talked prior to their arrival and agreed the repair should be somewhere in the $250 range. We were quoted $620 and told we needed a new spring, section of rail, two new cables and of course the labor. I told the guy I had to sleep on it as it was a rather large number. He called into the office, spoke with someone there, and then said to me, 'ok we will do it for $350.' Not sure why they didn't quote this upfront but I told the guy no. He insisted I talk to the person on the phone who proceeded to then yell at me and say I needed to pay $60 for the visit. I hung up, gave the van driven a $20 and said bye. The next day I called Precision. The woman on the phone was up front and honest with the costs as I mentioned I thought I needed a spring, two cables, and a section of railing. The Precision tech showed up two hours early, told my wife our spring was fine, said he could straigten the railing no problem so all we needed was two new cables and of course his time to do the repair work. Final bill was just a hair over $200 so thank you Precision for your honest ethical business dealings.

Your guys are always so polite and efficient. They work quickly and you know that the job is done right. We call Precision because we have your sticker right by our garage door button and no need to look through files to try and figure out who we used last.

I'm sold on Precision -- their technician (Bill) was prompt, professional, efficient, knowledgable, and friendly. He explained everything he did, and answered all of my questions (I ask a lot of questions -- I'm very curious). I was just sure that my garage door was on its last leg, but he tuned it up and got it running better (smoother, MUCH quieter, and without any more binding) in minutes. I'm quite sure this garage door now has several years of life left in it. But I am just as sure that when it DOES go, I will call Precision to replace it -- they have my trust and my confidence. Thanks Bill -- good job!

Bill came to our home to repair the broken spring on our garage door. What a great fella. He was personable, well spoken and showed me where the problems were. Because our house is 20 year old there were worn parts. Bill replaced what needed to be replaced and nothing more. He was very professional and completed the work quickly - I was very impressed. He showed me everything he replaced and operated the door to make sure I was satisfied. The price was more than reasonable and the door works perfectly - better than new. Thanks Bill...

Fast and efficient service. I would use them again, and recommend them to others. Tom Lathrop came out late on a Saturday afternoon to repair the garage door so that it would not be left open all weekend. I really appreciated his work ethic and understanding.

The work was performed professionally and met my expectations. What was not well received was the unnecessary push for additional services and unneeded equipment. My wife handled the service call and she was pushed to replace both springs instead of the single spring that broke. On top of that the service representative tried to convince her to replace the rollers on my garage door. My house is only 4 years old, I am surprised that this additional work and equipment was sold and positioned. I felt taken advantage of.
- Glen Kaufman
Glen, Thank you for using Precision Door Service for your garage door repair. We apologize if you felt pressured into having additional work performed. Our technicians are trained to do a 25 point safety inspection and give recommendations to repair your door. If you had a spring break after only 4 years then you either use the door far more frequently than the average or the springs were sub standard quality. Springs are typically installed in pairs and the life expectancy of each will be about the same. The springs should last minimum 8-10 years if all other parts are in good condition. We recommend the springs being changed together and our rollers are commercial grade neoprene with 13 steel bearings, steel stems and allow the door to run smooth and quiet. If you have any problems or questions please do not hesitate to call. Best regards, Bill
Professional organization Great follow up and service!
