I had used Precision Door service previously and was very happy with the service so I knew this was the place to call when I wanted my garage door unit and remote key pad replaced. James let me know his expected arrival time and arrived on the dot. Upon arrival he did a safety inspection and pointed out a few things (cables, brackets) that should also be done at this time. His explantions of what he was going to do and what he did were excellent. Very happy with the install, James' professionalism and knowledge. Thank you.

The person who answered the phone was very polite and helpful. The technician arrived on time and did a very careful and good job repairing what my problem was with the garage door opener. He explained to me everything that had happened and what he was going to do to repair the problem. He was very friendly and polite. If I have further problems, I would unhesitantly call Precision.

Brian arrived on time and completed a complicated repair on our double garage door, replacing the broken parts and upgrading others to ward off further problems. Very nice person who explained what was needed and worked cheerfully on this Christmas Eve day emergency fix.

Getting my appointment online was easy the morning after our garage door spring broke! Very easy! I chatted online with a tech and set up the appointment with ease. An appointment window was available in one hour! I was excited! As the chat was ending, I asked, "approximately how much will this cost?" The answer came back "depending on the spring you need, it will be btw $200 and $289. I enthusiastically said, "Let's DO IT!" The technician came right on time and Zac was very pleasant, very professional and knew exactly how to replace our broken garage door springs. It was all finished in less that 45 minutes!! The zinger came when (at the beginning of the job) I was told that the job was going to cost $850!! One of our vehicles was stuck in the garage and I didn't want to then have to call someone else to come fix my door and give me another estimate. Could I have said, "Hell no!"? Yes. But I felt that I had been tricked. So I LOVE that our door is fixed, but the answer to my online chat question could have been a little more honest. I suspect the online tech knew exactly what he/she was doing. There's no way they thought I was asking how much a SPRING costs. They knew full-well that I was asking what the entire job was going to cost. Can you say, "OUCH!!!"?? :-(

At our last house I'd had a very good experience with Precision - that was after a 'local' company cancelled at the last minute. Had a door opener installed. It was quickly and professionally done. Equipment is very nice. Only one problem, door does not completely close. There is a gap of about one inch when closed. I can manually push the door down to eliminate the gap but I think the door should close completely.

Zac Bedard was the technician who did the service. He arrived within the time window specified. Zac diagnosed the door opener as unable to remember the remotes anymore. He was upfront about how he could not fix my garage door opener on his first visit and what the options were for replacing our door opener. He did offer to come back later if he could which is rare to be offered. Instead, he came back the next day and did a complete inspection of the door, rails and cables as well as installed the new door opener. He showed us the highlights of the new opener and cleaned up so well it was as if he had not ever been here. Zac is friendly and knowledgeable and I would call for him again.

Install went well, I wish I could have seen a door and price sheet. Only got a verbal price, not seeing a price list was uncomfortable and made me feel like I did not get the best deal.
