Our spring broke on Weds afternoon, the day before Thanksgiving, and I thought that I'd have to wait until Friday to get it repaired. With out of town guests visiting and needing to get the car in and out of the garage I was panicked! I called Precision fully expecting to be told I'd have to wait. But no! They sent a technician out within 2 hours and Robert was just awesome! While he did explain some additional maintenance items that should be taking care of, at no time did I feel "pressured" into spending the extra money now to have them done. I will use Precision in the future for any garage door work I need done and will recommend them to anyone else that needs work. You guys are fantastic!!

I accidentally backed into my garage door on a Saturday morning and trapped my vehicle in the garage. Tom was onsite within 35 minutes of my phone call to get the door operational and estimate the cost of a replacement. As soon as my insurance approved the repair, the work was scheduled and completed within 2 days. The day of the repair Tom was able to come out early and finish, and this was also during the holiday weekend. I could not have asked for a better professional to handle the work and I really appreciate how sensitive they were to the fact that the work needed to get done quickly because my personal belongings were not very secure. I will be calling back in a couple of years to replace the other garage door and thank you so much for your service.

The technician told me what was wrong as well as things that are close to breaking. At this time, I chose only to fix the chain that had come off. I told Rick I would call him back if the motor or rollers break.

I went into this service call expecting the worst - that I'd need an entire new garage door. To my delight, rather than high pressure to buy something I didn't really need, Rick explained the problem and how much (little) it would actually cost to make the repairs. Beware this company they will quote one price then when they come out to your house try to charge triple the amount saying you need to place things that are not broken. It took him about 20 minutes to do the repair and my garage door only worked for two days after it was fixed. The technician complained about how far he had to drive to my house and how he was going to charge me more next time.

Michelle, First, let me apologize if our technician came across as unprofessional and we will address your complaint about the poor attitude. Regarding your concern that the tech was trying to overcharge you, let me explain. Our technicians are required to do a 25 point thorough safety inspection on the door and opener. Their job is to let you know the condition of your door and hardware so the technician can repair the door properly. Robert did his safety check, documented the results and concluded that your door has many old and worn out parts. The ultimate decision is yours and after explaining the problems you requested only partial service and repair, which Robert did. If the spring on your door failed then please let us replace it but we can only warranty parts we install and the safety of the door depends on the condition of all parts.
