Our garage door malfunctioned and we called another repair service first. They quoted my wife $20 to come out inspect the problem and provide an estimate. They did show up in a timely manner, inspected the door and gave us the news. My wife and I talked prior to their arrival and agreed the repair should be somewhere in the $250 range. We were quoted $620 and told we needed a new spring, section of rail, two new cables and of course the labor. I told the guy I had to sleep on it as it was a rather large number. He called into the office, spoke with someone there, and then said to me, 'ok we will do it for $350.' Not sure why they didn't quote this upfront but I told the guy no. He insisted I talk to the person on the phone who proceeded to then yell at me and say I needed to pay $60 for the visit. I hung up, gave the van driven a $20 and said bye. The next day I called Precision. The woman on the phone was up front and honest with the costs as I mentioned I thought I needed a spring, two cables, and a section of railing. The Precision tech showed up two hours early, told my wife our spring was fine, said he could straigten the railing no problem so all we needed was two new cables and of course his time to do the repair work. Final bill was just a hair over $200 so thank you Precision for your honest ethical business dealings.

Very pleased with Precisions service as they were able to come when I got off work and had 4-6p appointments available - Tom/tech was very personable and did the service, adjust and nylon roller replacement very quickly - Tom informed me of what might be the next problem that I may face - he also showed me the easiest way to adjust the tension on the opener - again I highly recommend

I'm sold on Precision -- their technician (Bill) was prompt, professional, efficient, knowledgable, and friendly. He explained everything he did, and answered all of my questions (I ask a lot of questions -- I'm very curious). I was just sure that my garage door was on its last leg, but he tuned it up and got it running better (smoother, MUCH quieter, and without any more binding) in minutes. I'm quite sure this garage door now has several years of life left in it. But I am just as sure that when it DOES go, I will call Precision to replace it -- they have my trust and my confidence. Bill came to our home to repair the broken spring on our garage door. What a great fella. He was personable, well spoken and showed me where the problems were. Because our house is 20 year old there were worn parts. Bill replaced what needed to be replaced and nothing more. He was very professional and completed the work quickly - I was very impressed. The technician was all business. His diagnosis and remedy was right on. There was room for additional charges but he did a quick check on our second door, made a slight adjustment. The charge was reasonable and we would recommend Precision to others.

My garage door springs broke at inconvenient moment when I wanted to leave for an appointment and my car was stuck inside unable to lift the door manually. I called in for immediate repair and unfortunately it was booked, While I was wondering whether to call other door repair contractors , Bill (Operations Manager) called me to tell that he will come by on his way home and fix it. Bill was great , explained to me what the problem was and what needs to be done. He was very professional and went out of his way to align my door properly due to poor bracket installation by the builder. We changed the rollers and now I can't even hear the garage door open. I would definitely keep Precision Doors in mind for any Garage door repairs in the future and would recommend you do to. And lastly, Bill gave me a great price on the parts and service which made it even easier to decide.

The work was performed professionally and met my expectations. What was not well received was the unnecessary push for additional services and unneeded equipment. My wife handled the service call and she was pushed to replace both springs instead of the single spring that broke. On top of that the service representative tried to convince her to replace the rollers on my garage door. My house is only 4 years old, I am surprised that this additional work and equipment was sold and positioned. I felt taken advantage of.

Just back from a trip; it was a Saturday. Found garage door spring broken. This was a warranty situation. Called and was immediately given the time a technician would be out. Tech assigned was in Aurora, so I was assigned one of the managers who was at my house literally within minutes of my call. The service received was very professional and way more than I expected. Bill Nashwinter was the service man that took care of my garage door and he was very knowledgeable about my door and explained what he was going to do and then DID IT! He also checked and tightened some loose hardware and also the Opener itself and explained to me that eventually the Opener will have to be replaced but not just now.
