MY ORIGINAL APPT. WAS FOR BETWEEN 12-2.. TOM CALLED ME AROUND 7:30 A.M. AND SAID HE WOULD BE HERE AT 8 A.M. WHICH WAS FINE WITH ME..HE WAS HERE PROMPTLY AT 8 A.M. HE IMMEDIATELY SAID THAT I HAD A BROKEN SPRING..THE BEARINGS NEEDED TO REPLACED AS WELL..I ASKED HIM HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE AND HE SAID 45 MIN.. IT ONLY TOOK HIM ABOUT 35 MIN.. My wife called James out to look into odd noises that the our still-under-warranty door was making that they installed last year. James was very thorough, and kept at it until he saw that the bolts holding the opener to the garage roof had one nut that was almost entirely off the bolt, and the other 3 needed tightening. He also checked and reset the where the door would begin and end the opening/closing cycle. James also lubed the door and answered all my questions about which pieces had relative motion for purposes of lubrication with the remainder of the spray lube he left with me. We didn't quite get rid of the squeaking but the loud "ding" just when the door finishes closing is gone (probably due to the bolts not being tight the door was applying too much pressure when it hit the bottom and one of those loose bolts made a "ding" noise...). So James gets 5 stars for a great attitude and professional demeanor, and especially for finding the problems with where the stops were set and the loose bolts (probably related in my mind). The company itself gets a lower rating, my advice to them would be to apply some "Lock Tite" or similar product so nuts installed less than a year ago wouldn't leave customers in a situation where the drive motor might fall on a vehicle. Overall though, both the original installer and James were great guys. The company just needs to adopt practices to prevent fasteners from coming undone.

Outstanding service. Tom was prompt and professional. He called in advance to let me know he was on his way and what his exact arrival time would be. He then arrived precisely on time. He diagnosed the problem efficiently. Tom then performed the work quickly. He made sure in advance that I understood what he would do and how much it would cost, and made sure afterwards that I was happy with his work and that I understood how to operate my new equipment. I called Precision ...to be honest, I did a Google research...after reading reviews, they seemed to be to best company. They arrived within 45 minutes of my call.. He was personable, courteous and very knowledgeable and presented me with 3 separate options for repair. After a brief review, I selected middle option and the repairs were made immediately. He also adjusted everything to make sure it was working properly. I had springs replaced as well as bearings. I would highly recommend Precision

This was a total rip off. I was in a desperate situation with important morning meetings and, on the positive side, Precision booked me quickly. While booking the appointment, I was very clear to ask 3 times for an estimate. Even just a ball park estimate. My questions were deflected. Zac came out and assessed the situation. The top spring had broken. It was discussed that this 1992 garage door system was aging and that I really needed to replace several items. That surely made sense. What didn't make sense was the incredible over-pricing of the services. $885.00!!!! As we were wrapping up, I asked Zac if the company imposed a surcharge for this being an emergency. I was informed that emergencies were defined as middle of the night or Sunday's. When I got to work, I told my co-workers about it. They were like, "That happened to me last year. It was $169.00 - labor included!" So, I took it upon myself to call Castle Rock Garage Door companies and go through a detailed list of what was replaced. A & A Garage Door Repair said that the total cost for all items done by Precision would be under $400 and adamantly questioned me if I really wanted all of the replacements done. A second company gave me a quote of $169.00 for the actual broken spring. That's a whopping difference! I will be posting complaints with the BBB, Yelp and other online sources.

We called this morning for the repair. A two hour same day window appointment was set for 2-4. A half an hour after we called, Bill called us and said he was in the area and could be here in 15 min. He arrived in 15 min and fixed the problem very quickly. He was very friendly, professional and courteous. Excellent work and service. I’ve recommended you in the past and will continue to do so.

I am not one for leaving reviews, but today I will make an exception. We have used Precision for garage door repairs several times over the years, and we have never been disappointed. The service is often scheduled for the same day and done swiftly and accurately. Recently, we had a warranty issue that was handled with the same attention to detail that we have come to know from the technicians. Should the need arise to have this kind of service done in the future, Precision will be our first call.
