I had them replace the original worn out all-steel garage door rollers with modern nylon sealed bearing rollers. All steel rollers sound like the old roller skates with steel wheels, which are hideously noisy. The noise level while operating the garage door dropped 10db, which doesn't sound like much numerically, but it actually is very significant (db is a log scale). Nice and quite/smooth operation now. Very happy with their speedy and professional work.

The main spring failed on my double garage door on a Friday afternoon. I called at 530, and scheduled an appointment for 8-10 on Saturday. Donovan Called right at 8 and was there by 830. The door was fully repaired by 930. I was very impressed with Donavan's professionalism, and the door performs better than ever with new springs, bearings, and rollers. I really appreciated getting the door operational less than 24 hours after it failed.

We had a fairly unusual issue- an electrical failure created a situation that required opening the garage door from the outside without using the garage door opener. Tom came out on time, and very quickly and efficiently was able to open the door without causing any damage to the door or opener. He was also able to install an external emergency release that would let us open the door ourselves if it ever happened again. Excellent service and great capability to deal with an uncommon problem!

Since the COVID began many businesses have had to close. The last garage door company that did maintenance on my door went strictly to electronic gates. So, I found Precision, reviews were excellent (as this one will be) and I felt confident they could 'fix' my problem. The problem, after temp hit 19 degrees, the door would only rise 3-4 feet and stop. I could lower it but that's all it would rise and then I had to go into manual mode. And when the temp rose to above, say, 25, the darn thing would work as designed. Then Tom from Precision arrived, he looked at my...old Liftmaster, and made a couple of adjustments like the pull harder setting (who knew). We now wait for the temp to drop to below 19. Tom is personable, will discuss the problem and get to it. If my opener fails again, I will ask for Tom.

This is my third time using Precision and had another great experience. The first two times were over the last 5-6 years with just having maintenance tune-ups; once I had the wheels replaced. Today was an emergency for my garage door wouldn't open. Tom arrived at 8am, gave me an exact quote to replace the broken strut, and within a hour, my door was working again perfectly. Their prices are fair, and Tom was a super expert and a really nice guy. Give Precision a try for you will be impressed.

This company has a serious gem of an employee. I posted on Nextdoor that my garage was broken at 8 pm. Someone saw it and offered to come and fix it that same night. Worked for 3 hours. I couldn't feel prouder to have this neighbor nor more grateful. Precision Door, Donovan is a keeper.

Garage door wouldn't close completely at the top due to floor lifting caused by expansive soils. Tom stated that the upper door guides needed to be adjusted to fix this problem. He proceeded to do that and also tightened the chain and other bolts that were loose as part of a Service Inspection Fee. Was here for 1/2 hour and door was in great shape when he left. $65 was a good price for the work done.

I'm 70 years old, arthritic, and not as spry or independent as I used to be. I don't think about that when I have a contractor come in to install something, like a new garage door opener. So, when I sat down to fill out the warranty registration (thanks to the installer who reminded me to do that when he handed me the brochure), I was dismayed to realize I didn't have the serial number. I searched the brochure for a hint as to where I could find the serial number and, sure enough, it's up on the opener. I have a ladder, so it's not impossible to climb up there and read it--if I put on my bifocal glasses and tilt my head back to read the small print, or if I use my binoculars. I just wish Tom the Installer had just taken the time to write the serial number down for me when he was up there installing it. When you pay over $700 for something, you tend to expect a little more service.
