Beware this company they will quote one price then when they come out to your house try to charge triple the amount saying you need to place things that are not broken. It took him about 20 minutes to do the repair and my garage door only worked for two days after it was fixed. The technician complained about how far he had to drive to my house and how he was going to charge me more next time.

Regarding your concern that the tech was trying to overcharge you, let me explain. Our technicians are required to do a 25 point thorough safety inspection on the door and opener. Their job is to let you know the condition of your door and hardware so the technician can repair the door properly. Robert did his safety check, documented the results and concluded that your door has many old and worn out parts. The ultimate decision is yours and after explaining the problems you requested only partial service and repair, which Robert did. If the spring on your door failed then please let us replace it but we can only warranty parts we install and the safety of the door depends on the condition of all parts. I actually had a fair amount of work done. I had the spring replaced. All of the rollers in the tracks on both sides were replaced, the gear mechanism on the main track was shot and had to be replaced and I had an outdoor remote installed. The installer was quite knowledgeable and did a good job at explaining the work which needed to be done. The service we received was top notch.

Our garage door track separated from the wall and we could not open the door to get our cars out. Called and told them the problem. Btravis got here in 15 minutes, reinstalled everything, also put new rollers on. He was gone in 30 minutes and we were both able to get to our appointments on time. Excellent customer service.

I was blown away by the professionalism and responsiveness I experienced using Precision. It was easy to set up the appointments, the technician called ahead of time and there were no hidden costs. I am pretty sure the service technicians name was Bill, anyway, he was very professional, showed me the issues with my garage door and got the work done quickly. The upper springs were replaced along with worn out cables and rollers. Very satisfied.

A garage door repair is something that doesn't occur all that often, so it is a bit difficult to try and make an informed judgement about which Company to choose. Luckily, I chose well, as Precision door service was prompt, extremely knowledgeable, and had my door repaired in short order. I believe Travis, my technician, could have replaced my broken door spring with his eyes closed. I would use Precision again in the future if I had another problem.

Your company had serviced my garage door in the past and had left a sticker next to my key pad. The gentleman who handled the most recent service call went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did he correct the "snapping" noise concern, but he also updated materials that should have been used when the garage door was installed by the builder. Thank you to you and your team. I cannot describe how pleased I am with Precision's service and professionalism. I received same-day service, was clearly informed of the two hour window the technician would be arriving, and was greatly pleased with Bill's service. He clearly stated the problem, gave an accurate quote to fix it, had all of the necessary parts in his truck, and completed his repairs in record time. He even changed a light bulb in the opener and programmed my new car for my opener without charging for his time and extra effort. I will definitely be calling Precision the next time I have any garage door needs!

Precision Door was unable to deliver the appropriate Parts in order to replace the side Weather Stripping on the Garage Door and also the Weather Stripping at the bottom of the door.

Tom, Thanks for expressing your garage door needs. As we explained when we arrived to service your door, you have a door with a specific bottom retainer that is exclusive to the brand. Unfortunately to have that replaced you need to work directly with them as they will not enable Precision Door to purchase their parts. The side molding / weather stripping we can replace but it was decided by you that you would first research having the bottom retainer replaced by the original company and have them also replace the side molding. As we could not accommodate your needs we waived our service fee / trip charge and did not charge you any fees. Our spring broke on our garage door Friday night and we were unable to get out our car on Saturday. I called Precision at 8am and by 9am, Jake was on site and replaced the springs and wheels on our garage door. It works like brand new. Jake was professional, fast, made recommendations and did a great job in 45 minutes! All this and a discount! I would recommend them to anybody who needs their garage door fixed and the first place I will call if I should ever need garage door repair in the future.

Our spring broke on Weds afternoon, the day before Thanksgiving, and I thought that I'd have to wait until Friday to get it repaired. With out of town guests visiting and needing to get the car in and out of the garage I was panicked! I called Precision fully expecting to be told I'd have to wait. But no! They sent a technician out within 2 hours and Robert was just awesome! While he did explain some additional maintenance items that should be taking care of, at no time did I feel "pressured" into spending the extra money now to have them done. I will use Precision in the future for any garage door work I need done and will recommend them to anyone else that needs work. You guys are fantastic!!
