The tech was on time and very courteous. Called because of faulty garage door opener the tech reprogrammed it and checked the door itself and did not charge me. Explained why and left. Very pleased. Would really recommend not because of the no charge but they no what their doing. Thank you so much

I chose Precision based on their offering of a tune-up deal and roller replacement through the AAA Auto Club. The Technician (Robert) performed the operation and also suggested a roller upgrade for longer life and some component replacements that were required. The end result is a beautifully operating door that I am confident will last a long time. Robert explained a lot of things to me about garage doors that I had not known. It really provided me with some things to keep an eye on.

My garage door was acting funny for a couple of days and then went off the track. I called Precision Garage Door and they came the next day. He put the door back on track and fixed the cause, the cable had come off the drum. He was there for 1/2 hour and charged $225!!! When I objected vigorously he said they had a flat fee of $160 for off track plus the service call. I wish I called a more honest company.

Jacquie, Thank you for the feedback regarding the service on your garage door. There is a service fee charge to have a technician come to the house. The technician does a 25 pt safety inspection, looking at both the door and opener to evaluate the problems. Your door was off track. This is when the cables come off the drum and rollers are out of the track. This makes the door sit crooked and releases the tension on the springs. The cause could be a number of things, from a broken spring to the rollers jamming in the track or possibly the door closing on something, perhaps a car, a garbage can or any such objects. It can take a technician 15 minutes to a hour and a half to reset the cables, retention the springs and balance the door - depending on how much damage was done to the door or structure. All of our technicians are experienced, knowledgeable and efficient. They charge off a price list that is industry competitive. My garage door is nearing 20 years and needed basic maintenance. The service technician called (within the service window) to let me know he was on his way, when he expected to arrive and to suggest a vehicle not be in the garage. He completed all the work quickly and best of all explained how to open the garage if the pulley broke.

Tom was great. My wife had accidently bumped into one of the runners. It was just enough that the door would not close. Tom simply readjusted and lubricated the door. Problem solved in just a few minutes. It was Christmas eve day and Tom did not even charge us. This is supurb business ethics. I asked him what I owed and he said he was in the Christmas spirit. You people are great! 5 stars.........

Robert did an excellent job, and was very professional. Before he came out, he had me do some trouble-shooting steps to be sure that the visit was needed. Once we established that the sensor was broken, he came over to replace it. He noticed the rollers were starting to have problems, so he replaced that, too. Precision came through for us again! A garage spring broke on a recent Sunday. I called for repairs the following Monday morning and was scheduled for that same day. Robert was our service tech and after determining that a complete overhaul was the best option, made the repairs in less than 45 minutes. He was quick, thorough and very professional. He answered all of my questions and gave me the information I needed for future upkeep. I love the fact that you can pull up a picture of the person coming to your home from the website.
