I had to call Precision for a broken spring in our garage door. Marc the technician was one of the nicest and most professional people I’ve ever dealt with. He not only showed up in a timely manner, he also explained in great detail of the costs and options for our maintenance needs. I appreciate you being able to come and fix my issue in a timely manner. Jessie Apolinar diagnosed and fixed my problem within 20 minutes. He was on time and had the part I needed on his truck. You installed my garage door opener system in November of 2021. This is the first issue I have experienced. It was caused by a lengthy power outage which caused the backup battery to run down. It had nothing to do with your garage door equipment. My sister recommended me to you when you fixed her garage door. Our entire family will continue to use your products and services. Very happy with Precision Garage Door. Mainly, they came out on a Sunday & fixed my broken garage door spring so that it worked again. The technician James was great. Communicated well & let me know in advance of his arrival which was at the earliest time of the window we'd been given. He was clear about what the problem was, what it would cost to repair, and what he'd do to fix it. Offered choices on things I could do maintenance on.

My house is built in 1985. I purchased it in late 2014. The garage door opener was not the original, But was at least 10 years old when my door finally gave out, and the door was the original from 85. So when I had them come out to inspect it, I was prepared for the news that it was time to get a new door. The door broke just before 5 PM on a Saturday, and they got someone out to me the next morning. Jessie called me she he was on his way, and showed up right at the scheduled time. Not only was he thorough in his inspection, and helpful in ensuring my door was usable for the time being, he was detailed in his explanation / description of what was working and not working with my door and opener, as well as what is likely to break next in the near future. I’m not a skilled trade worker, but I do my research. Everything he said made absolute sense, and was in line with everything I was expecting to hear. So when he explained my options for complete replacement, I had no reason to think he would be anything less than 100% honest. Everything about he said about my replacement options made perfect sense, and their prices were quite reasonable, so I agreed to move forward with a much needed total replacement: door, springs, tracks, and opener, etc. This was Sunday morning. Jessie was able to come out Tuesday morning for the removal & install. He communicated with me the following day on options that were available and despite having to wait for HOA approval, was able to get what I needed and have it for the time we agreed on Tuesday morning. Then he and a co-worker, (I think he said his name was Mark, but I’m not 100% certain I remember correctly) came out and were done by 2pm. That was a week ago now, today is 1/16/24, and not only does the door work great and look great, but with this winter storm that’s happening now, the temperature in my garage is waaaay better than it’s ever been because of the insulated door and how well it’s been installed on my 38-ish year old house. Definitely give Precision a call if you have any repair or replacement needs, especially if it’s an emergency, they will show up fast, friendly, and free is BS. And hopefully you’ll be fortunate to get Jessie. 10/10 A+ 5-star!

Jessie Apolinar was the technician who did the work on my garage door. I thought Jessie has a positive attitude and was VERY professional with the work he performed (specially since it was so cold outside). He was meticulous getting the garage door repaired and showed me things I needed to be aware of. Thank Jessie - good job! As for why I choose Precision Door Service. I called another garage door repair shop and had to leave a message on Friday. I never got a return call back from them which lead me to research another repair service. I needed to get this repair done promptly due to items I have in my garage that were exposed due to the garage door being inoperative. I choose Precision Door Service because you offer a same day repair and are also rated 5 stars. I appreciate talking directly with someone instead of leaving a message. That in itself gave me confidence in your company. The technician, Josh Osborn and rapid service time was excellent. I had no problems with the labor costs, particularly considering how quickly your response time was. I feel gouged however by your markup. I see a pair of the same springs for $150 (on the high side retail). You charged $250 each. Unless my math is off that’s a 230% markup. Our garage door opener broke this morning. I contacted Precision and they had a technician scheduled to repair the door within 2 hours. Zac Bedard was able to repair and replace parts that had worn out from years of use, and he installed a new motor. The door now works well and the work was completed within four hours of my first call. He was knowledge and explained clearly what work was needed and why and readily answered questions. He is courteous and friendly. The staff at Precision Overhead Garage Doors did their job well. It was a pleasure to work with them.

Thank you Precision Door Service for providing help the same day we called and for sending Jesse who was exceptional. Our 29 y.o. garage door was malfunctioning but Jesse immediately saw the problem- a broken spring. He went on to carefully assess every part of our garage door mechanism and opener. He showed us the parts that were worn out and explained the level of services that he could offer. There was no pressure from him, just clear explanations. We ended up asking him to replace the entire mechanism and motor. He spent hours working to get our garage door working again. In spite of the late hour, he took the time to make sure that we knew how to use the new opener and the new features that it provides. Jesse is an excellent ambassador for your company. We are very glad that he was able to respond to our call.

A spring suddenly broke on my garage door, and I contacted Precision right away. Mark was the technician, and was a consummate professional. When I met him at the door, he was the technician, but when we said goodbye, I considered him a friend. Not only did he fix the spring, but installed a new opener, as my previous equipment was over 30 years old. We talked as he was making the repairs, and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation as he worked. Great job, and thank you Marc!

Jessie was fantastic. Great communication for an arrival time, walked me thru everything that he would be doing and then a price quote. Hard core upselling is a deal breaker for me but I didnt have any of that with Jessie. He was straight forward and honest and that's why I'll call your company back for any future work! The technicians were super nice. They took a quick inventory of the problem and fixed it quickly, completely and did a great job. They had to fix a cable, install new metal tracks and realign the lights at the bottom so the door will close.
