First day of Labor Day weekend and the garage door quits in the open position. So it wasn't the spring. Popped the pin so the door would close and started phoning for garage door repair. Precision answered on a holiday weekend and fixed the door and the weekend wasn't spoiled after all.

We would not recommend this company for repairs. We had a repairmen come out to fix our garage and he told us it needed to be replaced and we got a couple quotes. He then proceeded to tighten some things on the garage door and charged us $99 for something we didn’t ask him to do on a door that needed to be replaced anyway. There was a lack of communication and we were left $99 out of pocket at the end and our garage door was not repaired.

This was our second repair by Precision (Tom Lathrop). The first was 2020, when another company botched a broken spring and cable replacement and after four visits garage door still wasn't working properly. Tom immediately diagnosed the problems and quickly made the necessary repairs. This time, a bracket holding a wheel on the track (25 year old door) had pulled loose from the door. In less than 30 minutes, Tom made the necessary repairs. Charges were very reasonable. I had originally selected Precision based on their great reviews. If I could give Tom Lathrop (and Precision) more than 5 stars, I would.

Very fast, efficient and professional! My garage opener died this morning at about 11. By 1:30 I had a new one installed and working perfectly! Tom was great and diligent! Normally I would have done it myself but with the cold weather a few hours away it was worth the extra money to get it done promptly! Plus The new opener was a great upgrade from my old chain drive! Highly recommend Precision!
