Quick and friendly service but did not solve our issue. I live in a newer home with a side-mount garage door opener for a single-car garage. The technician recommended I contact Ankmar Door Service or Overhead door to resolve my issue because Precision Door does not have the expertise to work on side mount openers. Again, friendly service.... but I was left feeling like I wasted $75.00 on a service fee which resulted in just being referred to more capable companies.

I called Precision for my annual garage door inspection. Everything went smoothly, the technician was very knowledgeable, and I was completely satisfied with the visit. This is five star service. A garage door spring broke again and on the same side. I decided to call Precision this time and they got me on the schedule immediately. In fact, they where even able to arrive sooner than promised. James arrived and gave me an honest evaluation of my situation. I gave him the approval to proceed with the recommended work. I watched him do the whole job and I don't believe he made a single movement without a specific purpose. He definitely knew what he was doing. I am a handicapped senior and consequently am now able to repair this kind of situation myself. I would use Precision again and may even ask that James comes to do the work.

Great customer service! We called Precision at 5 on a Friday to fix a broken lift spring. Our garage door system was installed in 1999 and everything was falling apart. James came on Saturday. He was efficient and good to work with. We recommend Precision.

Sunday Morning, Time to leave, Garage door will not open, reason broken lift Spring. We started using "Precision" in 2012 when we purchased our home, door needed repair then , again in 2015 when motor unit and spring both failed. We had no additional repairs in the follow 7 years until today. So we called Precision again. Visit was scheduled for Sunday afternoon, and James Rubesne was ID'd as our repair Tech. He called as promised to advise "on his way as scheduled" and arrived as promised. James obviously knew how to ID and repair the problem. Discussed what needed to be done with me, and the cost. of the repairs. He completed the repair and alignment process very smoothly in a reasonable period of time. Great job Done. I was glad we called Precision again.

James performed a complete inspection of the door and all of its components. He went through every option with me regarding the repair. James' attention to detail was amazing and he even made adjustments to the garage door opener. It is so quiet now after all of the repairs. WOW, I just got robbed. I've been using this company for about 12 years. Service in the passed was reasonable and good work, no complaints. So just had a spring brake which was covered under the 5 year warranty. James came out and during inspection he found that the center spring being ($69), the garage end bearing set ($199), the end drums ($199), nylon roller wheels ($199), needed replacement. Now knowing any better I agreed to a $600 bill. Curious, I decided to look up all the parts replaced on Amazon, 2 drums ($13), roller wheels set ($13), 2 end bearing plates ($11), and steel bearing for the springs ($8) for a grand total of $45. I feel like a total idiot but I had no idea what the parts cost, the mark up for parts was a complete rip off. Buyer be ware. Never Again.

I have used Precision Garage Doors for a couple of years. I always get great service from them. 2 years ago they told me my rollers had a few years left. Today they broke- they were right! I called them and they came out 5 hours later without any emergency call fee. Now that is service for you!!! Great guys, great service, great company!!!!

James Rubesne did not an outstanding job in replacing both torsion springs and getting our garage door open for us. He also made sound technical arguments in convincing us to replace the main bearing located between the 2 torsion springs, as well as replacing the door rollers in the roller tracks, several of which were severely degraded due to their age and normal wear and tear. Although getting the entire door replaced (including the door panels and 2 outer rod bearings) was not a viable financial option for us at this point in time due to other recent house expenses we've had to make, James helped us in the end make a smart financial decision to just replace only the components that would keep the door serviceable for us over the next couple of years until we can better plan on an entire door replacement. But to be certain, we will be calling Precision Door Service in the distant future for our garage door replacement when our financial situation allows for this higher expense.
