Our technician did a 25 pt safety inspection on the door and opener and what he found was a broken spring on a Wayne Dalton door with Torquemaster system. A dealer of that specific system may be able to replace the spring, which is hidden in the torquemaster set up but all other companies will need to do torsion spring conversion. A conversion consists of other working parts, besides the spring only. This will increase costs but also increase the lifetime of the springs and we give a longer warranty. You will find Precision Garage Door Service to be competitive in the market and our you will find our warranty to be one of the best in the industry. I called two other garage door companies before I came upon Precision. The first one didn't even answer the phone (couldn't leave a voice mail even) and the second one never called back. When I called Precision, I was able to speak to a live person, and explain my problem. I was able to make an appointment the next day. Prior to the end of business that day I got a call from a technician leaving a voice mail message that he thought he had an easy fix for my garage door. I was unable to get back with him that day. The next day a technician arrived from Precision and was able to solve my problem immediately. My garage door now works and because it was a simple fix the technician did not even bill me a service fee. WHEN DOES THAT HAPPEN ANYMORE THESE DAYS? CALL PRECISION IF YOU WANT A COMPANY THAT IS KNOWLEDGEABLE, FAIR, AND HAS INTEGRITY.

Completely satisfied with my transaction with this company - Called on a Saturday morning, thinking I would have to wait until sometime the following week for someone to check on my non-functioning garage door opener, but to my surprise they said someone could come out that afternoon - Well, Tom did, and in about one minute found the problem, but the old 21 year unit was non-repairable - and, he didn't have the parts with him - But, Monday afternoon he was back, and within an hour the new unit was installed, tested and operable = As mentioned above, completely satisfied - the cost was reasonable, and the timeliness of the repair was remarkable - So, very pleased - Byron

My garage door opener had some issues after a previous install by subcontractor that did not take place properly. After that experience, I decided to call in the real professionals, which happened to be Precision Overhead Garage Door Service. The service call was scheduled for the next day but they were able to send the technician, Tom, out the same day. Tom did an excellent job! He was quite professional, efficient, and courteous all at the same time. The repair cost was much less than I had anticipated and quality work was performed. I would definitely refer Precision to others.

Very fast, efficient and professional! My garage opener died this morning at about 11. By 1:30 I had a new one installed and working perfectly! Tom was great and diligent! Normally I would have done it myself but with the cold weather a few hours away it was worth the extra money to get it done promptly! Plus The new opener was a great upgrade from my old chain drive! Highly recommend Precision!

Excellent company! They came within a couple of hours of my call. We never noticed that there was something blocking our sensor but as soon as the tech came he checked that first. He left in 5 minutes and never even charged us for coming! We were very impressed and will be telling others about them.

Called another company on Sunday, they said that I would be contacted on Monday morning to schedule a time. Called them again at 9am on Monday and was told the same thing. I called Precision at 11am after not being contacted by other company. I was scheduled for 4pm the same day. Tech contacted me and was able to arrive at 2:30. The job was completed by 3:30 and everything is working fine. I did finally hear from the other company after 4pm. To let them know they missed out.
