We were very impressed with Precision Door Service from the person who answered the phone to the tech who came out the next morning. Tom informed us that we were in need of new springs on the door and gave us options to having it fixed. No pressure just good info. James Rubesne did not an outstanding job in replacing both torsion springs and getting our garage door open for us. He also made sound technical arguments in convincing us to replace the main bearing located between the 2 torsion springs, as well as replacing the door rollers in the roller tracks, several of which were severely degraded due to their age and normal wear and tear. Although getting the entire door replaced (including the door panels and 2 outer rod bearings) was not a viable financial option for us at this point in time due to other recent house expenses we've had to make, James helped us in the end make a smart financial decision to just replace only the components that would keep the door serviceable for us over the next couple of years until we can better plan on an entire door replacement. But to be certain, we will be calling Precision Door Service in the distant future for our garage door replacement when our financial situation allows for this higher expense.

Great service...for the second time! Super fast! Tom was here within two hours of calling, and fixed my garage quickly. The only reason I didn't leave 5 stars is because of price. It cost $700 for two springs and two bearings. Would be nice if you waived the service fee if the bill is over $500 or something. Just a thought. We are glad to have our garage working perfectly. Even though it can be pricey, I would still recommend Precision for sure, based on customer service, and how quickly you came out.

Tom did an excellent job. He very quickly identified the problem with my garage door. He ordered the parts in Denver, drove to Denver to collect the parts and was back at my house within an hour and 30 minutes. Once back he worked extremely efficiently, he obviously knew exactly what he was doing. The garage door was repaired and working within an hour. He also serviced the door and cleaned up. He was very polite and a pleasure to have working at our house. I would highly recommend him and his company.

I called this morning because I couldn't open my garage door. Your technician, Tom Lathrop came promptly and discovered that the trunk of my car interfered with the door. Installed one new pre-assembled door with indoor control plus one outside keypad. Removed old rollers on track system for this door and for a similar installation from last year. Both doors now operate very quietly. All finished, including cleanup in 2 hours or less. This was similar to the first installation one year ago.

I called at 7:30 AM to say that my garage door was not operating properly and was told that someone would arrive between 8 and 10 AM. Tom arrived at 8:02. Within an hour and a half he replaced both springs and repaired several other door componets. Thanks for the good work.

First of all, Precision has a professionally looking website. Of course, I read the reviews for customers in my area and was pleased with those. Short answer to my satisfaction - I couldn't be more pleased! Tom was on time and immediately determined that my (only) four year old Genie crap opener had a failed component in the circuit board related to the limits setting. I asked him to replace both of my openers with the excellent Liftmaster 1/2HP belt drive openers. They're not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Tom installed everything needed for both openers, programmed the remotes and the Homelink in my car. Tom is knowledgeable, fast, and efficient. I highly recommend both Tom and Precision!!
