Precision was the only garage door repair company I could get a hold of on a Sunday during Labor Day weekend. The service tech, Robert, got to my home quickly and advised me of all of the options I had not once trying to "sell" me on getting expensive repairs or replacements. He even told me about low cost alternatives that I could easily do myself if I wanted to avoid the expense of costly repairs/replacements. Robert fixed my broken springs, changed my old rollers, and fixed the previous installers horrible install work that compromised my entire garage door system. Precision did a great job for a fair price when I needed it.

I have had two other companies service my garage door components in the past. The first one was an emergency where contractors working on the house jammed the door and burnt out the motor. The second selling me door spring after door spring. Both companies I found had come to loose their BBB ratings. I called Precision, this time, after finding their web site and checking their BBB rating. We had left the cargo door of our MDX open in the garage, the garage door open was hit and the door came down taking the back of the MDX with it. It also jammed the door itself bent all the retaining supports, the safety wire jumped off its track and the door lissted (unable to be closed) at about 30 degrees. Precision sent out a technician named Travis who not only knew his stuff but exhibited technical and inter-personal skill. The nightmare I had envisioned in re-constructing our two door garage was reduced after close to 2 hours to just a minor headache. Door wire - re-attached Bent retaining tracks - straightened several hinges - replaced drive motor to high - needed lower brackets drive speed and pressure re-adjusted I am pleasantly surprised, for a change, that there still seems to be technicians out there that actually care about their trade and reflect that care in their work ethic. I would call for Travis to service any garage problem that may occur in the future. He seems to be a vital employee and I appreciated the way he improved my knowledge level.

Your emergency repair service prompted my selection. My garage door would not open, with my car parked (trapped) inside at 6pm. I had an important appointment at 7am the next morning. Your technician, Robert, was able to come to my home by 7pm and was able to replace the damaged spring and overhaul the 20 yr old opener, which included replacing all the rollers, all before 8:30pm. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Although the fix on my garage door problem was nothing more than a leaf in the sensor by the door, the technician fixed it and did do some routine maintenance while he was at my house. He was also informative about future issues and I appreciated that he did not try to inflate the price or repairs that were needed as with some other companies that I have out. Very professional. I will call this company for future problems first.......

I was informed by Bill when he got here that your company doesn't work on Overhead Garage Door Openers, however, he thought he would be able to fix it since he wouldn't need any parts. Travis showed up between the agreed upon time of 10 AM - 12 PM. I needed a tuneup on my garage door opener. The rollers were no longer rolling, and the chain on the drive shaft was also experiencing issues. Travis explained to my wife and I our options. We decided to replace the rollers as well as the garage door opener. Travis completed the work in a timely manner, and was a professional in his interactions with my wife and I. When the springs broke on our garage door recently we were glad that we found Precision's number on the inside of the garage door. Not only was the service technician able to come out sooner than we expected (even on a Saturday) but after accessing our door he was very thorough and patient as he explained his recommendations for the replacement of not only our broken springs but the rollers as well. We felt confident in our decision to follow his advice. The door is working better than it has in a long time. In addition, Travis was one of the most personable, efficient and professional technicians we've ever had in our home. I had one of the torsion springs for my garage door break with both vehicles trapped inside the garage. Of course, this happened at 8pm. I went ahead and called that evening. I spoke to a live person and scheduled an appointment for the following morning. I also asked the company to please try to come out as early as possible. I received a call at 7:30am stating that the technician was on the way. He arrived by 8 and immediately got to work. He lifted the door to allow my husband to get to work on time and proceeded to examine the situation. He came in and explained everything to me. Once I gave him the go-ahead, he worked quickly and efficiently, but also thoroughly. To my surprise, the technician was done before 9am! I was very pleased with the service from start to finish. I will continue to use Precision Door for any future needs as well as recommend you to everyone I know. My appreciation may be greater as I had a poor experience last year with a different garage door company regarding work at a rental unit I own.
