Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.
Types of Reviews
This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.
At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.
This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.
This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.
This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

Awesome service. I called at 10am and Bill was there by 1:30pm. The door had not been serviced in 22 years and was in need of a serious tuneup. There was no pressure to buy a new door or a new opener. Bill took care of business and the door works the best that it ever has. These folks are the best!

My garage door opener quit working with two of three cars locked inside. On July 2. Precision took my call over the holiday weekend, and after discussing price, I elected to wait until the following Tuesday, though the holiday upcharge was quite reasonable. The technician arrived at 8am and my vehicles were free by 10. I am confident that I paid for only what was needed, when it would have been easy to sell me more stuff. I hope I don't need garage door service again for a long time, but if I do, I'll be calling Precision.

Just when you think "customer service" is a lost art, Precision reestablished my belief that the customer is valued and respected. My experience was VERY positive and educational. The technician ,Jacob was on time, polite, professional, and most of all experienced. I had a spring above my garage door break and Jacob explained each sequence to properly repair the problem. After watching Jacob preform his duties I am relived I did not atempt this repair myself. I will recomend Precision to all family and friends and to have them ask for Jacob!. I had a good experience with this company. They did not try to get me to spend extra money for things I didn't need. I was able to get a ball park figure for my broken spring from the representative on the phone. The price the technician quoted and charged me was what I expected based upon that ballpark figure. The service was fast and friendly, the price was competitive and my garage door is operating better and quieter than it did before the spring broke. I would definitely work with these people again.

As always the service people were very prompt and did the work in a timely fashion.They even pointed out some extra work I needed on my three garage doors which I appreciated very much. I feel now that I'm set for a while.I called that day about the bill and was told I would get a call back soon.On one of my last bills I was given a senior discount and I didn't get that this time.If that is still the policy,would you adjust my bill for me ?If not ,then that is ok also,just wanted to check all bases.You guys are the BEST.

Our garage door would not open unless you held down the control button. We had one company out that gave us what I thought was an outrageous quote, not to mention that the repairman seemed like a snake oil salesman. I then called Precision and spoke to Bill over the phone. His straightforward nature sold me on their services. The next day, a technician and trainee came out repair our garage door. They also fixed various other problems that were the result of shoddy builder installation. I believe that they were fair and honest in getting our garage door and opener in the best possible working condition. During each step, I was consulted and the problem and cost to repair were explained. I'd definitely use Precision again!

My garage door repair call turned into the need for an entirely new garage door (my door was 40 years old, unsafe, and unworkable). Our technician was very knowledgeable and did not try to up sale us when it turned out we needed a new door. He was able to secure a door and install on the same day. He worked well into the evening to get the job done. Could not be more pleased with our experience. Wish these guys did more than garage doors to have the opportunity to work with them again (I expect this door will last another 40 years!!).

We have used Precision in the past for repair work and have been very pleased and today is no exception. I called this morning at 8:00 AM and someone was repairing our garage door by 10:30 AM. Jacob completed the job in no time at all. And, fortunately for me, Jacob was not scared off by a very enthusiastic lab who thought she had a new playmate at the door.
I liked the confirmation email with the Technician's name and a picture. Additionally, it was fun to learn a little bit about his hobbies.
